Spain is known for its olive production. Our country has a wide variety of olives grown in different regions. These varieties are appreciated both nationally and internationally for their flavour, texture and quality. The following are the main varieties of Spanish olives.

• Manzanilla: It is one of the most popular varieties, mainly grown in the region of Andalusia. They are medium to large olives, with a rounded shape and light green colour. They are known for their mild and delicate flavour, and are used both for table olives and for the production of olive oil due to their flavour.
