Peas with mushrooms and prawns, delicious and easy recipe based on three ingredients that combine to perfection: peas, shrimp and mushrooms.
The pea is a type of legume, not vegetables but many people may think this, we can find in the fresh market (in season), canned or frozen the rest of the year.
As the season of fresh pea is in spring and autumn are, we opted for a few frozen peas to make today's recipe: Peas with mushrooms and prawns.
These peas with mushrooms and prawns have turned out to be a very sensible proposal by how well they combine ingredients.
Ingredients peas with mushrooms and prawns for 4 people
400g of peas
250g peeled prawns
Cardo mushrooms 180g
Leek
Spring onion
thyme
Olive oil
Salt
Preparation peas with mushrooms and prawns:
Finely chop half an onion and the white part of leek.
Sauté in a pan with four tablespoons of olive oil.
After 5-7 minutes over low heat, add the oyster mushroom diced.
Stir, we do a couple of minutes over low heat and add the peeled prawns (frozen in this case).
Mix gently and let the whole medium-low heat until we see that the prawns are defrosted, but unmade.
Currently we incorporate the peas and season to taste.
We went up the heat until it begins to boil down to medium heat and let cook another five minutes.
Rectify the salt, if necessary, withdraw, aderezamos with leaves of lemon thyme, served and tasted.
