The agricultural production area of ​​Fuentesaúco chickpeas broadly encompasses the region of La Guareña, which is located in the extreme southeast of the province of Zamora.

The physical characteristics of this variety are:

Color: resulting from a mixture of yellow, white and brown that translates into cream or muted tones.
Size: the weight of 100 dried chickpeas after conditioning will be between 40 and 50 grams.
