Basic Ingredients for the Dough

Ingredients:
500 g of wheat flour
100 ml of olive oil
150 ml of warm water
1 egg
1 teaspoon of salt
Step by step for the Dough:
Prepare the ingredients: Place the flour in a large bowl and make a well in the centre.
Add the liquids: Add the olive oil and warm water to the centre of the flour. Also add the egg and salt.
Knead: Start mixing the ingredients from the centre outwards, gradually incorporating the flour. Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Rest: Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes before using.
Meat Empanadas
Meat empanadas are a classic that almost everyone loves. The combination of minced meat, spices and vegetables makes them irresistible.
Ingredients:
400 g minced meat (can be beef, pork or a mix)
1 large onion
1 red pepper
2 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of sweet paprika

Step by step for the Meat Filling:
Prepare the ingredients: Peel and finely chop the onion, red pepper and garlic.
Sauté: In a frying pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic for 5 minutes, until transparent.
Add the pepper: Add the chopped red pepper and cook for 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
