Hojiblanca extra virgin olive oil gets its name because of the white color of the underside of the olive leaf. It comes mainly from Cordoba, Malaga, Seville or Granada. It has a wide range of flavors, including sweet and fruity, spicy at the throat and with an almond-like aftertaste.
In the kitchen, it is a very versatile variety, so much so that it is the most commercialized monovarietal olive oil in Spain. Ideal for creams or fish.
